Kraket unites students and business through formal events such as the Caseday, Diversity and Development Day and LED (National Econometricians Day), where members can get in touch with companies and orient themselves on the labor market.
Furthermore, a study trip abroad is organized once every two years. In 2019 a group of students will travel to Marrakesh and Casablanca, where they will visit several companies, a university and the Dutch embassy and of course explore the city. Previous study trips, among others, went to Lisbon, Madrid, Istanbul, Tokyo, New York and Atlanta, Hong Kong and Brazil.
The printing press is also running at full speed at Kraket. The Ecotribune is published every quarter. In this informal newspaper you can find extensive reports of the organized activities, but also the happenings in and around the association are discussed. Besides, we have the SECTOR. This formal redaction publishes articles on the website weekly. You will find articles about companies, research, what our students do next to their study or our alumni do after their study.
Of course, Kraket also organizes relaxing activities. Think of the Sinterklaas celebration, lasergaming and a number of drinks and parties, but Kraket is also very sporty. Sports like football, pool, skating and squash are regularly discussed. At the end of the year the board organizes a weekend trip to a location unknown to the members. During that weekend, the Kraketweekend, you get to know people from other academic years in a relaxing way.
